- Lead fun and meaningful activities, from social outings to community events
- Assist with daily life tasks, which could include meal prep, personal care, and mobility
- Create opportunities for connection, relationships, and personal growth
- Help participants get out and about, whether shopping, appointments, or events
Bring your energy, compassion, and creativity, and help people thrive and be part of a team that truly values what you do!
About You
We’re looking for people who are genuinely passionate about supporting people with disability and helping them live their best lives. You are:
- Compassionate and patient, with a natural ability to build trust and rapport
- Energetic and flexible, ready to adapt to different situations, activities, and participant needs
- Team-oriented, collaborating effectively with colleagues, families, and other community partners
- Committed to person centred active support, encouraging independence, choice, and meaningful engagement
- Reliable and professional, following safety, privacy, and NDIS standards.
Essential Requirements:
- Current Unencumbered Driver’s Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Employee Working with Children Check
- National Criminal History Check (Police Check)
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module (prior to commencement)
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
If you bring initiative, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn, you’ll thrive as part of our ConnectGV team.
