THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an organised and proactive Finance and Corporate Services Officer to support the delivery of efficient finance and corporate services across our organisation. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this permanent full-time position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial and corporate support functions. This diverse role is ideal for someone with strong finance administration experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment and contributing to positive community outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Finance and Corporate Services Officer, you will:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Complete bank reconciliations and month-end reconciliations across all key accounts and ledgers.
  • Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, financial reporting, and funding acquittals.
  • Coordinate procurement, supplier management, contracts, and compliance documentation.
  • Manage fleet administration, including registrations, servicing, insurance, and compliance requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits while maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to operational meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

Essential

  • Certificate IV or higher in Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum three years' experience in a finance and administration support role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, debtor management, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general finance administration.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and time management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly adapt to finance systems such as QuickBooks, Reckon, Lumary, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to team culture.
  • Commitment to person-centred practice, human rights, and safeguarding.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience working within the not-for-profit, disability, aged care, or community services sector.
  • Experience supporting audits, funding acquittals, procurement, supplier management, and corporate compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve financial queries efficiently.

  • Hold or obtain a current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Hold or obtain a current Working with Children Check.
  • Hold or obtain a current National Criminal History Check (Police Check).
  • Complete all mandatory training requirements.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment screening checks.
  • Meet any role-specific licensing, qualification, registration, or vaccination requirements.
